BEING BRAVE ENOUGH TO DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO EVEN WHEN YOU'RE AFRAID. TOGETHER WE ARE STRONG !

We, of the West Nipissing Woodland Metis Community Organization, the French River Metis Tribe and members of the West Nipissing Indian Nation of North America, are seeking your help to retain and pay for legal fees for three lawyers of "Elders Without Borders", Michael Swinwood, Anthony Vincent, Liza Swale, who are preparing a class action suit on behalf of the Algonquin/Nipissing/Metis Nation as against the Crown in Ontario and Quebec.

In particular, this class action will challenge the Ministry of Natural Resources to impose authority over land and resources in the Province of Ontario. This will also deal with hunting and fishing prosecutions and seek to establish that Ontario has no valid jurisdiction over native people as it regards the use, occupation and stewardship of native land.

The funds raised by each community and individuals will be administered by a committee of community members and monthly reports will be provided to the committee by the lawyers.
